75th Independence Day Celebrations

Mamata Medical College celebrated the 75th Independence Day with great pride and enthusiasm. 15th August, 2022 was a day of immense pride and joy for all Indians. On this day, we Indians celebrate our heroes and freedom fighters that sacrificed their lives for the nation, to bring us the freedom, peace, and joy.
The day started by hoisting the national flag by Sri Puvvada Nageshwar Rao Garu, Founder, MES, Khammam, this was followed by the National Anthem. Worthy of its effort, a systematic march past was done by our students which signified methodology and Perseverance. Everyone’s hearts were moved with the delivery of our Founders deeply enriching and patriotic speech.
The cultural program like group singing was rendered by small group of students by singing Patriot song, composed by Dr Vidya Sagar, Professor & HOD Department of Dermatology.
The day came to an end with the distribution of snack boxes to all our students and staff members.

Ethics Awareness Programme

Ethics awareness programme for interns (2016-17 batch) was conducted on 29/04/2022 in collaboration with Telangana state medical council.  Dr. B. Raj Sidhardha, executive member of Telangana state medical council addressed the students and explained about the importance of medical ethics rules and about punishments for violation of ethics.

Dr. Ch. Jyothika Reddy who secured highest marks in final MBBS part I and II is selected for gold medal sponsored by Telangana state medical council.

White Coat Ceremony

White coat ceremony was conducted for first MBBS 2021-22batch on 29/04/2022 .Smt. Puvvada Jayasree, Secretary, MES and Director Dr. Puvvada Naren, Director graced the occasion. Importance of white coat in medical profession, duties and responsibilities of doctor were explained to students. Cheraka Oath was administered to students by Dr. B. Anuradha, Vice-principal MMC. HOD’s of pre and paraclinical departments and Dr. P. Srilakshmi, SWO participated in the programme and addressed the students.

As a part of the foundation course competitions were conducted in Essay writing and drawing. Prizes were distributed to winners and runners by Smt. Puvvada Jayasree, Secretary, MES and Dr. Puvvada Naren, Director, MES.
